The Goethe Institut Lagos’ interactive exhibition, Games and Politics, which saw the public display of explicitly political games created since 2004 by the ZKM (Zentrum Fur Kunst und Medien) came to a close yesterday with the Enter Africa Lagos open play day. While welcoming participants to the event, the Director of Goethe-Institute Nigeria, Friederike Möschel, explained that the creation of local content in the game design space is the motivation behind the project.

Mike Adenuga Centre Opens: Free for Alliance Française Lagos for the next 10 years.
It was an evening designed to be for the screening of the film Returning Fire: Interventions in Video Games Culture, a part programme of the GAME AND POLITICS exhibition ongoing at the Goethe Institut Lagos. It however made history in a subtle way as the very first programme hosted at the sprawling Alliance Française de Lagos/Mike Adenuga Centre.
