The first edition of the Zenith Tech Fair, an initiative of Zenith Bank, today lends its voice to the teeming conversation around the future of work, enterprise and everyday living. The conference which held at the Landmark Events Centre also featured exhibitions and hackathon and covers conversations in emerging technology, and identify and finance innovative startups.
A point of convergence at this year’s conference is the significance of machine learning in the new innovations we see today. From the presentation by Juliet Ehimuan-Chiazor-Country Director, Google Nigeria on Machine Learning and Quantum Computing to IBM Nigeria’s Dipo Faulkner’s talk on Artificial Intelligence and the next industrial revolution, and Oracle Nigeria’s Adebayo Sanni’s Economic Benefits of Data and Data Monetisation; it is clear that big data plays a crucial role in defining how we live and work.
